Job Requirements

Location: Burlington, ON -Travel requirement: 2 days on site per week and travel to Tiverton for periods of approximately 2 weeks to 1 month (per diem applies)

CGP (Controlled Goods) clearance: Required (active or expired BP or OPG)

Project Context

The Project Manager will be accountable for the delivery of engineering and/or manufacturing projects supporting customers within the CANDU Nuclear industry. Typical projects range in value from approximately $100K to $5M and support long-term programs with a multi‑year outlook.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycles from proposal phase through to implementation
• Define methods, resources, and strategies required to meet project objectives and develop comprehensive project execution plans covering all project phases
• Balance and manage competing project constraints including scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, with support from a project scheduler, and identify resourcing requirements to drive performance
• Develop and implement recovery plans to address delayed activities and bring deliverables back on track
• Maintain full accountability for project financial performance
• Monitor project expenditures and performance indicators and update forecasts, addressing deviations as they are identified
• Control project scope by interpreting contracts and Statements of Work and monitoring activities and customer requests accordingly
• Travel to customer locations and other Westinghouse facilities as required

Candidate Requirements

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Nuclear industry experience with Bruce Power (BP) or Ontario Power Generation (OPG)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience supporting execution and/or construction activities for BP or OPG projects
