Work Conditions

  • Duration: Initial contract through March 31, 2026, with extension potential

  • Location: Calgary

  • Work Model: Hybrid (remote and onsite as required for meetings)

 

Position Overview

ALTEN Canada is seeking a Project Manager to support ongoing and upcoming programs within a regulated and technically complex environment. This role focuses on planning, coordination, financial tracking, and stakeholder engagement across multiple initiatives.

The successful candidate will contribute to project feasibility activities, operational initiatives, and program execution while ensuring structure, visibility, and accountability across schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, structure, and maintain detailed project plans

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

  • Perform risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations

  • Support financial forecasting and resource allocation activities

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and participate in project meetings

  • Contribute to quality and regulatory compliance activities when applicable

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in program/project management roles

  • PMP certification

  • Experience within the aerospace industry

  • Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations

  • Manufacturing environment experience

 

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting

  • Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities
