Project context
The consultant will become a member of the Enterprise Data & AI team, which is tasked with overseeing and sustaining an extensive data ecosystem across both cloud and on-premises platforms, including AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake. The team supports multiple project groups delivering data solutions across the organization.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Enterprise Data and AI Platform across AWS and on‑prem environments.
Administer and support Snowflake and Databricks across multiple tenant workspaces.
Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, AWS Backup, and (as an asset) SageMaker.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver secure and scalable platform solutions.
Candidate requirements Must‑haves
5–8 years of total experience, including DevOps experience in AWS cloud environments.
Minimum 3 years of Databricks platform administration experience.
5+ years of AWS experience with strong knowledge of S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, AWS Backup; SageMaker is an asset.
Hands‑on experience with Terraform, GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker is an asset.
Demonstrated curiosity and interest in continuous learning.
